Chef Steve Watson Prepares Certified Organic Newfoundland Blue Mussels


Recipe Details:

Prep: Preheat pan, chop peppers, slice lime, and chop garlic.

Cooking Directions: 

  1. Whisk together the butter, garlic, curry powder, cumin, and salt in a small bowl.
  2. Add Mussels to cooking pot with white wine.
  3. Top with Curried butter Parsley, Red Pepper and Limes and steam for 5 minutes
  4. Transfer the mussels to small bowls and garnish each with a lime wedge to serve.

Cook Time: 2-4 mins

Ingredients: 

  • 2lbs Mussels
  • 3 tablespoons of Melted Butter
  • 2 cloves of Garlic pressed
  • 1 tsp Curry Powder
  • 1/8 tsp salt
  • 1 chopped Red Pepper
  • ¼ cup Chopped Parsley
  • 1 Lime thinly sliced
  • ½ cup white wine
